CRL has created and made available 22 MARC records for the first Open Access module from the Global Press Archive, Late Qing and Republican-era Chinese newspapers. This collection consists of key newspaper titles published in China during the transition from imperial rule to the establishment of the People’s Republic (1912-1949).

The records are in CRL’s catalog, and they are also available in MARC format from OCLC’s WorldCat database and as a Knowledge Base collection through Collection Manager. CRL members who do not wish to download the records from WorldCat may contact Yoseline Louisma to obtain the records.

Once digitization for all titles in this collection, as well as the other Global Press Archive collections, are complete, catalog records for those titles will also be made available.
