CRL Assessing Donations Policy

CRL collects materials directly through purchase, exchange, deposit, and born-digital ingest. These content streams are based on long established policies and guidelines authorized by CRL’s Board of Directors and with the advice and recommendations of the Collections and Services Policy Committee (CSPC).

In 2023 CRL will be assessing our donation programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of our members. For this reason, CRL will not consider large deposits of material for the collection.  CRL will continue to consider small donations that fill gaps in CRL’s newspaper collection or print journal collections. All other collection building activities continue.

To make these offers, please email Chianta Dorsey, CRL Preservation Librarian.
