Documents of the war crimes trials of 185 defendants tried by the American Military Tribunals (AMT). These proceedings are commonly referred to as the Nuremberg trials subsequent proceedings.

The AMT series consists of proceedings and supporting documents of all twelve cases tried by the American Military Tribunals, 1946-1949. Proceedings are in German and English, with some supporting documents in German only. These papers are a major source of historical materials documenting Nazi activities in Germany and other Axis countries in 1933 to 1945.

The Center's holdings of this material is incomplete. Trial records and documents in mimeograph format are arranged on the shelf in boxes in order by case, then by transcripts (German and English), prosecution documents, and defense documents.  For assistance in accessing uncataloged material, please contact CRL's Access Service   For some trials the Center has acquired microfilm copies of the documents, for which catalog records are noted.
