CIFNAL Announces $1,000 Stipend for IFLA Meeting

The Collaborative Initiative for French Language Collections/Collectif international des fonds documentaires en langue française (CIFNAL)  is pleased to announce that one stipend of $1,000 will be made available to attend the 2010 IFLA Conference in Gothenburg, Sweden. Staff members of libraries that are institutional members of CIFNAL are eligible to apply. The stipend will be administered through CRL. Application deadline:  March 15, 2010.

The candidate is expected to

  • represent CIFNAL at IFLA meetings
  • report on CIFNAL activities at the meetings of the AIFBD and other French-language interest groups
  • network with colleagues to support the development of CIFNAL
  • report back to the CIFNAL membership.
