The Middle East Materials Project (MEMP) will hold its annual meeting in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, November 15, from 3:30 to 5:45 p.m.at the on the campus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

MEMP member libraries fund projects that acquire and preserve rare and at-risk research materials related to Middle East studies. Funding is provided by MEMP member institutions through an annual membership fee. Representatives of member institutions meet annually to discuss current and future projects and to set priorities for additional acquisitions.

Unique Arab Diaspora Materials Saved for Future Scholars

The Middle East Materials Project (MEMP) microfilmed Arab-language publications from several diaspora communities in non-Arab countries, continuing to affirm MEMP’s role as a provider of rare and distinctive documentation.
