The OAPEN Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to sustainable, open access, peer-reviewed books in the humanities and social sciences. OAPEN operates three platforms: OAPEN Library, OAPEN Open Access Books Toolkit, Directory of Open Access Books.
The Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) is an open infrastructure indexing and discovery system committed to increasing the discoverability of open sciences.
Offer Details
Pricing for the combined DOAB/OAPEN annual library supporter contribution is based on three tiers as follows:
Baccalaureate/Associate's: $1,200.00
Master's: $2,400.00
Doctoral: $4,850.00
CRL/NERL members and affiliates have until September 1, 2025, to express interest in joining CRL's agreement for consortial support.
The vendor does not require supporters complete a license, mou, or other agreement.

Estimated Savings
If we have 10+ participants interested in supporting the initiative via CRL/NERL, supporters will receive a 25% consortial discount off pricing.
