Budget & Finance Committee

The Center for Research Libraries Budget & Finance Committee supports the CRL Member Community by reviewing the annual operating plan, including a budgetary total and membership fees, and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors to ensure continued financial and operational activities of CRL and therefore the survival and availability of primary source materials vital to academic research and learning.

Collections and Services Committee

Nominating Committee

Governance Committee

The Governance Committee provides guidance to the Board and CRL management to ensure the Center's governance works in accord with CRL's bylaws, mission, vision and values, and periodically reviews these guiding principles to ensure they reflect current law and member expectations.

Audit Committee

The Center for Research Libraries Audit Committee oversees the Center's annual financial audit, compliance reporting, and institutional risk management, assisting the Board of Directors in discharging its fiduciary responsibilities for the organization.

NERL Program Council

The NERL Program Council (PC) is a representative forum foundational to the work of NERL, with PC members advising on and directly serving on negotiation teams. Working collaboratively, PC works with the NERL Steering Committee and staff to sustain NERL’s core shared purchasing decisions to develop new and innovative priorities to further support and advance NERL’s pursuit of transforming the scholarly landscape.

NERL Steering Committee

The NERL Steering Committee (SC) is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the NERL program. The NERL Steering Committee supports the overall negotiation process at an executive level, and periodically assists NERL negotiations directly on the advice/request of NERL negotiation teams.
