The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) Collections and Services Committee (CSC), in accordance with their charge per the bylaws, is tasked with providing critical guidance to the Board and senior leadership to ensure that CRL’s investments and programs are positioned to support scholarly research and long-term stewardship of knowledge resources. The CSC plays a central role in translating the aspirations of CRL’s member community into actionable priorities, ensuring that all initiatives reflect a shared commitment to sustainability, equity, and impact. The Committee typically meets quarterly.

CRL calls for expressions of interest by member representatives to fill positions for a three-year term beginning November 2025.

The Chair and Vice Chair of the Nominating Committee are appointed by the CRL Board of Directors. The Board will review the names submitted and create Nominating Committee service appointments that tap the diverse set of perspectives, expertise and institutional contexts reflected across the CRL community. Because this is the first call after a bylaws revision, we are seeking some members willing to serve shortened terms to establish staggered terms.
