The Records of the Children's Bureau, 1912-1969.

The Children's Bureau was established as a federal agency to improve the health and welfare of children. The pamphlets and reports from the National Archives included in this set reflect the evolving concerns of the Bureau in view of the prevailing conditions in the six decades covered.
