African Newspapers Union List [1] (AFRINUL) is a centralized electronic database of holdings information for newspapers published in sub-Saharan Africa.
CAMP microfilmed issues of this Rwandan government newspaper from 2001-2013. The issues of Imvaho Nshya [2] were collected by the Library of Congress Field Office in Nairobi.
CAMP has microfilmed several Liberian newspapers from the collection at Michigan State University, including issues of The News [3] and The Inquirer [4] from 1997 through 2011, as well as The Analyst [5] (1998–2011), Heritage [6] (1997–2011), New Democrat [7] (1998–2006), and Patriot [8] (1992–2002). In a continuation of this project, CAMP has preserved additional holdings of some of the above, and also some new titles: Daily Observer [9] (2005–2011), Informer [10] (2004–2011), Inquirer [11] ( 2005–11), National Chronicle [12] (1997–2011), New Democrat [13] (2007–2011), New Liberia [14] (1999–2008).
CAMP films Les Echos [15] (May 26, 1989–) and Le Républicain [16] (March 10, 1993–), two titles from Bamako, Mali. The holdings are contributed by Northwestern University.
CAMP has microfilmed issues of The Nation [17] from Blantyre, Malawi, including 1993-2017.
This project will microfilm documents from various state governments in Nigeria. The Plateau state [18] is the first to have been completed. The holdings are contributed from Boston University, the University of California at Berkeley, and Northwestern University.
CAMP has microfilmed issues of Patriot [19] and its successor title Impak [20]. This conservative weekly political Afrikaans title was published in Pretoria, South Africa. Holdings are contributed primarily from Yale and Northwesetern.
CAMP has recently preserved newspapers from Senegal collected by the Library of Congress Field Office in Nairobi. The titles include Le Populaire [21]and L’info 7 [22] and the issues are from 1999-2007.
CAMP recently preserved several newspapers from Somalia and Somaliland collected by the Library of Congress Field Office in Nairobi. Issues of the twenty titles span the years 1998–2012. A CRL news item [23] provides additional information and a list of the titles included in this project
CAMP has microfilmed issues of Taifa Leo [24] for the years 2004-2010. This title is the only Kiswahili daily paper published in Kenya. The holdings are being contributed by Yale and Northwestern.
CAMP has microfilmed Yale's copies of Times International [25] (Lagos, Nigeria) from 1979 - 1990.
