Africa Studies Centre (Leiden, The Netherlands) joins CAMP [1]
The Africa Studies Center (The Netherlands) is the newest international member of the Cooperative Africana Microform Project (CAMP) [4]. Founded in 1963, CAMP is a joint effort by the Center for Research Libraries (CRL) and research libraries throughout the world to promote the preservation of publications and archives concerning the nearly fifty nations of Sub-Saharan Africa. International membership allows institutions abroad to access CAMP’s microfilm collections (provided they support the costs of shipping).
CRL’s cooperative programs [5] enhance the abilities of CRL libraries to identify, access, and preserve valuable source materials for scholarly research.
