The South Asia Microform Project (SAMP) has acquired microfilm of the Ceylon Times for the period 1863–1907. The Ceylon Times was founded in 1846, becoming Times of Ceylon in 1883 as an evening daily. The South Asia Microform Project (SAMP) announces the availability of Rahbar-i Dakan, one of the most influential Urdu papers published in India, for the period 1925–46. SAMP preserved the rare and fragile paper from the collection of the Urdu Documentation Centre in Hyderabad. For more details, see the CRL catalog record for this title.
