The deadline for online nominations for the 2012 Primary Source Awards is January 31. CRL’s annual competition is designed to recognize and publicize librarians, teachers, and researchers who:

  • Use or promote the innovative use of primary source materials in research projects and research methodologies
  • Employ primary source materials in the classroom or curriculum
  • Facilitate access to primary source materials for research

The Primary Source Awards are presented annually in three categories: Access, Research, and Teaching. Both the awardees and the nominators of the awardees receive prizes. Visit www.crl.edu/primary-source-awards to learn more, see information about last year's awardees, or to nominate a colleague, a student, or yourself.

You can download the flyer and distribute to help promote the awards competition in your library.
