CRL Member Liaison and Outreach Services Director Mary Wilke and Digital Program Manager Virginia Kerr will describe how CRL’s support of access to research collections now includes negotiated offers for electronic licensing and purchasing at CRL libraries. Recent offers have influenced pricing and functionality for resources including Nineteenth Century Collections Online, Shen Bao Digital Archive, and the Stalin Digital Archive. CRL is exploring ways to improve the communication pipeline for current and prospective offers, including a beta version of a new workflow tool. We will also review how CRL’s various cooperative collection programs identify valuable collections for cooperative purchase, such as the Central American Archives (above right).
