CAMP Welcomes the University of Sheffield as Newest Member [1]
The University of Sheffield (UK) is the newest international member of CAMP (Cooperative Africana Microform Project) [4]. CAMP, founded in 1963, is a joint effort by research libraries throughout the world and the Center for Research Libraries (CRL) to promote the preservation of publications and archives concerning the nearly fifty nations of Sub-Saharan Africa. International membership allows institutions abroad to access CAMP’s microfilm collections (provided they support the costs of shipping).
CRL’s cooperative programs [5] enhance the abilities of CRL libraries to identify, access, and preserve valuable source materials for scholarly research.
