CRL and the North East Research Libraries Consortium (NERL), a nonprofit program operating under the auspices of Yale University, have come to an agreement to relocate NERL operations to CRL. NERL licenses major online products on behalf of 28 member academic research libraries and approximately 80 affiliates, and will be managed as a cooperative program under the CRL organizational umbrella.

CRL digital delivery program surpasses one million pages!
In June, 2008, CRL surpassed one million pages already digitized for scholars at member libraries. The milestone figure represents the digital conversion of more than 7,500 items to date, all discoverable through the CRL catalog as well as OCLC’s Worldcat.

CRL and 18 members team up to acquire major microfilm sets through the 2008 Shared Purchase Program.
With the support of 18 member institutions, CRL is acquiring five major microfilm sets through its 2008 Shared Purchase Program. (See below for the names of the 18 members.) The total list cost of these acquisitions, which will benefit all CRL members, is $44,058.
