CRL has released the findings of its preservation audit, and has certified CLOCKSS as a trustworthy digital repository. The certification applies to the repository’s ability to preserve and manage digital content deposited with CLOCKSS by participating e-journal publishers as of May 2014.

Valuable Atomic Energy Reports in TRAIL
TRAIL has digitized over 20,000 U.S. federal technical reports, including documents produced by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, which was responsible for the peacetime use of atomic science and technology from 1946 until 1974. Much of this information is extremely valuable today in light of the recent nuclear disaster in Japan.
LAMP has acquired a microfilm collection of approximately 88,000 pages of manuscript songs, legends, nursery rhymes, and traditional stories from rural Argentina.
A 2011 CRL report produced for the Library of Congress gives an overview of news workflow and production systems and insights on the “lifecycle” of news content.
GNARP’s Librarian Exchanges Working Group has solicited reports from North American librarians who have done library-related travel in German-speaking countries, and librarians from German-speaking countries who have done a library exchange in North America.

2011 Primary Source Awardees Announced
The results of the 2011 Primary Source Awards were announced at CRL’s 62nd Annual Council Meeting on Thursday, April 21.
Members of the Technical Report Archive & Image Library will offer an informal Information Session on June 25 to provide information about the TRAIL project.
