CRL and partners continue their support for preservation and digtiization of historical agricultural publications through Project CERES
CRL libraries are helping grow and strengthen the print journal holdings maintained under the Global Resources Partnership in Science, Technology and Engineering, to ensure the availability of knowledge resources vital to research and learning.

CRL's extensive work with serials data and holdings records is benefiting member institutions' assessment and disclosure of serial holdings for archiving.
Following the announcement that Portico will now archive EBSCO Digital Archives products in its D-Collections program, representatives of CRL libraries heard more about the expanding program in two conference calls with Portico. CRL has updated the provider profile and review of Portico in eDesiderata.
Three major publishers of news databases have begun to provide detailed metadata to the International Coalition on Newspapers (ICON) database.
The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) has completed a preservation audit of Canadiana.org, and on the basis of that audit certified Canadiana as a trustworthy digital repository.
