CRL is pleased to announce that it is implementing FOLIO as its new library services platform, a direction that is tightly aligned with CRL’s core values of open infrastructure and responsible operations. Further complimenting these enhancements, a new online catalog will go live on June 15, 2022, bringing enhanced discovery experiences to online patrons and researchers.

PAPR Database Enhanced

Infrastructure and interface enhancements to the PAPR registry will enable addition of more serials records from repositories recommended by the community, such as JSTOR, HathiTrust, and Scholar’s Portal.

The PAN Forum met Friday, January 26, 2019, in Seattle Washington for another informative event.

Through an NEH-funded planning effort, CRL will mine bibliographic records for historical print serials reformatted through major humanities preservation efforts, to address a significant gap in “actionable” information for libraries responsible for the stewardship of critical humanities resources.

CRL libraries are helping grow and strengthen the print journal holdings maintained under the Global Resources Partnership in Science, Technology and Engineering, to ensure the availability of knowledge resources vital to research and learning.

Now in its fifth year, CRL's Global Resources Partnership in Science, Technology, and Engineering continues to expand benefits to CRL member libraries.

The dashboard, developed as a result of recent community discussions, provides a high-level view of the progress of shared print archiving efforts.

Project Ceres grants a total of $48,839.43 to projects from five universities. 

CRL's extensive work with serials data and holdings records is benefiting member institutions' assessment and disclosure of serial holdings for archiving.

Preserving America's Print Resources II: a North American Summit was convened by CRL at ALA 2015 in order to discuss how CRL can further support the archiving and sharing of print serial collections by North American libraries.

CRL’s Print Archives Preservation Registry (PAPR), a registry of print archives and shared print programs and a database of titles and holdings preserved by those programs, now provides comparison reports to aid collection development decisions and planning.
