TRAIL's Winter 2021 Newsletter

The Technical Report Archive & Image Library (TRAIL) has released its Winter 2021 Newsletter, containing timely updates about the program.

The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) is pleased to announce the results of the 2021 Purchase Proposal Program ballot. This year, CRL members voted to acquire four new collections representing a broad range of research interests across the membership. 

TRAIL Celebrates 15 Years

Fifteen years after the initial pilot, TRAIL consists of over four dozen member institutions whose annual membership fees and volunteered staff time have digitized over 86,000 reports.

The Technical Report Archive & Image Library (TRAIL) has released its Autumn 2020 Newsletter, containing timely updates about the program.

CRL's partner LLMC has digitized many primary legal documents from the Berlin State Library, which are now available to CRL libraries.  These materials complement other German resources in LLMC's collection that were sourced from other libraries, including the University of Pennsylvania's Biddle Law Library, the Library of Congress, and many others.

The Technical Report Archive & Image Library (TRAIL) has released its Summer 2020 Newsletter, which provides important program updates.

CRL has numerous online resources available to researchers and scholars working remotely.

CLIR's Digitizing Hidden Collections award, combined with the patronage of CRL and LLMC institutions, will complete the digitization of a nearly 2,000 microfilm reel set of Records of the States of the United States of America.

The Law Library Microform Consortium (LLMC) has assembled from various sources and digitized Official Gazettes from several jurisdictions in Africa.

TRAIL member representative Laura Sare of Texas A&M University has been appointed to the Depository Library Council (DLC).

CRL's partner LLMC recently implemented a new viewer to support intuitive browsing and navigation at the document level.

MARC records for technical reports digitized by TRAIL can now be retrieved from OCLC's WorldShare Metadata Services, Collection Manager.

The Mexican Intelligence Digital Archives (MIDAS) contains files from the archives of Mexico’s two principal security services: the Dirección Federal de Seguridad (DFS) and the Dirección General de Investigaciones Políticas y Sociales (DGIPS).
