Latin American Newspapers (LAN) has reached 970,000 pages digitized and accessible. New additions this month include key Panamanian titles Estrella de Panama and the Star & Herald. Access to LAN is available here.

African Newspapers (AFN) is in full production. A complete title list for AFN content is available from Readex’s site. We anticipate a preliminary release of AFN (25,000 pages, four titles) to the membership in the next few weeks.

CRL is preparing its third module, South Asian Newspapers (SAN). This module will provide more than 400,000 fully searchable pages of newspapers published in South Asia between 1864 and 1922. Titles will include such key publications as Amrita Bazar Patrika (Calcutta), Madras Mail (Madras), Tribune (Lahore, Pakistan), and others.

To date, 28 institutions have committed to invest with CRL in the development of the new modules for WNA. Please contact us if your institution is interested in becoming a Charter participant of these new modules.
