CRL receives "Gold Record" plaque for contributing the 71 millionth record to the OCLC WorldCat catalog

CRL contributed the 71 millionth record to the Online Computer Library Center’s WorldCat catalog and received a "Gold Record" plaque to mark the event. To learn more about OCLC’s “Gold Record” program, visit OCLC.

CRL Cataloging Milestones

  • In the last five years CRL has produced catalog records for more than 650,000 items in its foreign dissertations collection of 800,000-plus documents.
  • CRL was recognized by OCLC in 2004 and 2005 for contributing the most original records to WorldCat.
  • CRL produced more than 130,950 catalog records last year, including 106,496 for the foreign dissertations collection. Of the total, 63,549 were original to WorldCat.
