The Collaborative Initiative for French Language Collections (CIFNAL) will offer up to four stipends for staff members at CIFNAL institutions to attend the AIFBD Conference August 23–25 in Limoges, France.
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has funded a one-year planning grant to support work by CIFNAL members and partners to develop standards and workflows for the preliminary data collection and analysis necessary for the cataloging of French revolutionary pamphlet collections.
Thirty-two Bibliothèque Bleue texts from the University of California at Berkeley’s Bancroft Library were recently added to CIFNAL’s Bibliothèque Bleue project, hosted by ARTFL.

CIFNAL Announces Stipend Winners
CIFNAL proudly announces the two librarians who have been awarded stipends of $1,000 each to attend the 2011 AIFBD Conference August 9–12, 2011 in Martinique.
CIFNAL is offering two $1,000 stipends to representatives of institutional members of CIFNAL to help support their attendance at the August 2010 meeting of AIFBD in Martinique.
CIFNAL’s Steering Committee will meet on Sunday, January 9, in San Diego.
A new online catalog will link users to full-text, digital facsimiles of French pamphlets made accessible by CIFNAL member institutions, international partner collections, and related digital library collections.
