Latin American Periodicals Tables of Contents (LAPTOC)

The Latin American Periodicals Tables of Contents, or LAPTOC, is a database that provides open electronic access to the tables of contents of journals published in Latin America and the Caribbean. LAPTOC consists of more than 800 academic and research journals published in 29 countries in the region, including bibliographic references to over 250,000 articles in the major languages of the region. Database searches can be made by journal title, keywords in author and article titles, and country of publication. The user can save citations, create bibliographies, and e-mail or download results of searches.

Individuals requesting articles from LAPTOC should do so through their library's interlibrary loan service.

The LARRP Advisory Committee recommends that all participating LARRP member Interlibrary Loan Departments expedite and waive fees for requests originating from other LARRP member institutions for LAPTOC article requests. Requests received from non-member institutions will be processed in accordance with local ILL policies and procedures. Please refer questions to LARRP contacts.
