Bibliographic Control Working Group
Göttingen Spring 1999
Agenda
Tentative agenda for Spring Meeting 1999 in Göttingen, Germany
Thanks for the participation in pulling this agenda together. This is a next-to-last draft, including your suggestions, and adding the AACR2 Translation Project to the list (as it is nominally a part of our work and perhaps all of us are participating in it). I am placing it at the head of the list.
I added a section called "elements" to each of our ideas to summarize some of the elements of our discussion relevant to the particular topic. I will have all of our discussion too at the meeting and can refer to that as well, if needed.
In Goettingen, the working group coordinators will lead breakout sessions where we will present the topics we have discussed/proposed here... there will be discussion of these ideas as well as additional ideas from our German counterparts and other participants. The next day we will present these ideas at a plenary session of Project participants and we will then begin to develop action items, prioritize, including creating deadlines... for beginning work on these issues. When I get back, I will post any notes I have to the list, and I know that more information about the results will appear on the website. And we can begin the meat of our work.
Cheers, Karl
