CAMP Fall Meeting 1 Dec 2016 - 3:00pm

The Cooperative Africana Materials Project (CAMP) will hold its Fall Business Meeting on Thursday, December 1, in Washington, DC.
This webinar will examine how LOCKSS technology and the CLOCKSS model approach the challenges of preserving elusive journal materials, helping small publishers overcome some obstacles to submitting e-journals for digital archiving.

SEEMP Annual Meeting 19 Nov 2016 - 3:45pm

SEEMP (Slavic and East European Materials Project) will hold its annual meeting in Washington, DC, on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. in Washington Room 2 of the Marriott Wardman Park hotel in conjunction with the ASEEES Convention 2016.
The 2016 eDesiderata Forum examines the challenges libraries face in providing for scholarly access to large databases, datasets and other electronic resources in four broad areas: finance, public opinion, population, and geospatial information.

The Middle East Materials Project (MEMP) will hold its annual meeting in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
This introduction to CRL's collections and services is an excellent orientation for new staff, or a refresher on how CRL can extend the resources of your library.

New tools from Portico enable comparison of library holdings to titles archived in Portico, to determine the completeness of archived content. Speakers from Portico will demonstrate some of these tools.

LARRP Annual Meeting 11 May 2016 - 9:00am

The Latin Americanist Research Resources Project (LARRP) will hold its annual meeting for members on Wednesday, May 11, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Charlottesville, VA.

LAMP Business Meeting 9 May 2016 - 4:30pm

LAMP’s annual business meeting will be held Monday, May 9, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Charlottesville, VA.  LAMP member libraries fund projects to acquire and/or preserve rare and at-risk research materials related to the study of Latin America through an annual membership fee. Representatives of member institutions meet annually to discuss current and future projects and set priorities for additional acquisitions.
TRAIL (Technical Report Archive & Image Library) will hold its annual Steering Committee Meeting April 26-27, 2016 on the campus of the University of Arkansas.

CAMP Spring Meeting 22 Apr 2016 - 9:00am

The Cooperative Africana Materials Project (CAMP) will hold its Spring Business Meeting on Friday, April 22, in Gainesville, FL.
Held in conjunction with CRL's annual Council of Voting Members meeting, the 2016 Collections Forum will consider the meaning of responsible stewardship of collections at a time when digital resources are dominant.

The 2016 annual CRL Council of Voting Members Meeting will be held in downtown Chicago, at the University of Chicago's Gleacher Center. This is the main CRL governance event, at which representatives of CRL libraries review new and ongoing CRL inititatives and elect new Board members.
