TRAIL (Technical Report Archive & Image Library) will hold an Information and Update session from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Central on Sunday, February 1, in conjunction with the ALA Midwinter Meeting. All new and prospective members of TRAIL are invited to learn more about the project at this open meeting.

TRAIL identifies, digitizes, archives, and provides access to federal technical reports issued primarily prior to 1976. Technical reports communicate research progress in technology and science; they deliver information for technical development to industry and research institutions contributing to the continued growth of science and technology. These highly detailed reports contain valuable information serving specialized audiences of researchers. While availability of the more recent technical report literature has greatly improved with Internet access, legacy technical report documents remain elusive to researchers.
