This monthly
journal of the Indian School of Social Sciences is an
important resource for scholars and one that should
be preserved. The Digital South Asia Library has received
permission to digitize this material , but would like
to ensure its preservation on microfilm as well.
CRL holds a complete copy of this journal from 1972-present.
In the case of any missing issues, CRL will contact
members to fill in gaps.
Although many libraries hold the print editions,
the title has not been filmed. SAMP should consider
filming this as an archival copy of the material.
In addition, this proposal is seeking to explore models
of cooperation between SAMP and DSAL, where SAMP receives
preservation copies of material while DSAL makes it
available in electronic format. |
