Action Items from the Business Meeting

1. We need to let Jill know that subcommittee reports need to be submitted at least a month before the conference

2. Bibliographic Access Subcommittee needs to be evaluated further

3. James will send a reminder for people to read the subcommittee charge on Intraspect

4. There is $1,600 more on the Senegal project than committed. James will raise the issue of where to charge this overspent money. This should go through Marion as Title VI Chair

5. Lauris asked if there is a handbook that explains the responsibilities of the faculty representatives. James mentioned the handbook explaining each position

6. Sherry Young informed us that the embassy has $20,000 for the Mozambican Archives project

7. David Easterbrook will coordinate the Nigerian State Document project

8. National Archives of the Gambia
The Slave Trade Archives in Banjul is on a Canadian homepage. But they cannot pay for their web site anymore to reactivate access. They need a place to host it long term. Joe thinks that they need to develop guides to accompany the archives. He will get more details to see how (or whether) we can do this)

9. Joe might be going to ESARBICA
