CAMP has several collections relating to the Black Sash Society, formerly the Women's Defense of the Constitution League, organized in 1955 to "maintain a bridge of sympathy and understanding between the various racial groups in the country, ... to mitigate the inhuman effects of the implementation of Apartheid" and "to keep alive a spirit of dissent." In some cases, these collections may overlap.
