The Area Studies Council (ASC) is engaged
in ongoing efforts to provide access to resources for foreign
microfilming projects. This site will provide information
on standard works for preservation microfilming, instruction
or training manuals created for specific projects, translations
of such manuals into other languages, successful grant projects,
lists of foreign vendors & filmers, examples of contracts
used with staff or vendors, and other resources.
This site goes hand-in-hand with ASC's Resources
for International Preservation page. The companion
page provides information and links to general preservation
resources, with a focus on an international audience.
